Production Synopsis:
"Play It Again Sam" was the third show of Broadway West's 2003 season.  Set in the 1970's we had a garish goldenrod and avacado green set, resplendent with Bogart memorabilia.  The sound design was pure 70's music and David Ammon's lighting created seamless scene  changes to dream sequences through out the play.  One nice lighting touch was an actual street lamp that came on whenever Bogart appreared. Costumes were all period and provided a fanstastic realism to the show.  Our props were also period, thank goodness for E-bay and 70's retro! I had such a good time directing this show and it renewed my interest in directing.  My main words to the cast for this farce was "get as big as you want, I will pull you back if I need to."  I never had to, they were brilliant!
